The defense exhibition 'East Tech 2025' is scheduled to take place from September 19 to 21 in Ranchi. Officials announced this on Wednesday, highlighting that it will be the inaugural defense exhibition organized by Jharkhand.
The event will be hosted at the sports complex located in the Sports Village of Ranchi. Initially, it was planned for September 17 to 19, but the reasons for the postponement remain unclear.
A military official stated, 'The exhibition will showcase the latest defense technologies developed by startups. Jharkhand has immense potential for defense manufacturing, and hosting East Tech 2025 in Ranchi aims to establish the state as a defense hub.'
Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar is set to inaugurate the exhibition on September 19. The Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) General Anil Chauhan and the Commander of the Eastern Command, Lieutenant General R.C. Tiwari, will also be present at the opening ceremony.
